Ørsted is developing the Hornsea Two offshore wind farm

(“HOW02”), which is located in United Kingdom, approximately 120km North East of Grimsby.

The development includes the installation of a Reactive Compensation Substation (RCS) Platform, approximately 60km East of Grimsby, and an Offshore Substation (OSS), located adjacent to the offshore wind farm.

The RCS platform is a jacket structure of 1400te, supporting a topsides module of 2100te.  The OSS platform is a jacket structure of 4650te, supporting a topsides module of 6700te.

Sealand Projects were appointed by Ørsted to plan and facilitate an assurance workshop to satisfy internal Stakeholder for the readiness of the project team to deliver a successful product within APAC Region.

Sealand Scope:

To initiate the assurance program, Sealand Projects conducted structured  interview sessions with nominated  Internal Stakeholders, to identify any areas of concern, readiness of project and organisation to adapt to APAC region delivery model.

Following the Interview Sessions, Sealand Projects facilitated an Assurance Workshop to review the impact on the Project Execution Philosophy, if an APAC Yard is awarded the RCS / OSS fabrication packages, assess the management of risks and opportunities, readiness of the team to deliver the project.

In addition, Sealand Projects provided a term of references document, presentations, pre-populate worksheets, attend workshop, provide briefing packs, identifying risks and actions, deliver workshop report.
