Miles Jones Sealand Projects

Miles Jones – Chairman

BSC (Hons) Marine Physics, University College of North Wales, MSC Underwater Technology, Cranfield Institute of Technology

Miles has over 30 years’ experience working in the marine environment, initially as a hydrographic surveyor before moving into design and project execution.

For the past fifteen years Miles has been the Managing Director of consultancy companies supporting clients in the Ocean Economy.

Even in his spare time Miles is never happier than when he is on the water either wind surfing or paddle boarding.

Graeme MacDougall – Managing Director

BEng (Hons), Civil Engineering, Heriot Watt University,

Working for more than 20 years for subsea installation contractors, consultants and operators, Graeme has gained a wealth of experience working within the offshore and renewables industries.

His passion for overcoming the challenges that clients face, along with his excellent management and communication skills, enable Graeme to work with their teams to deliver successful projects time and time again.

On his downtime, Graeme is happy on the open road with his trusty bike, clocking up the miles wherever and whenever possible!

Nigel Danhash

Nigel Danhash – Director of Projects

Bsc (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering, University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology,

Nigel has more than 35 years’ experience of oil and gas projects, involved in all aspects of engineering and construction and with considerable exposure to production and drilling operations.

During his career, Nigel has also been involved in founding and managing two engineering consultancy companies, which specialised in providing project engineering and project management services to clients in the Ocean Economy.

Nigel splits his time between Aberdeen and Surrey. With a love of life, good food and wine, Nigel can be relied on to find the best tastes on offer for whatever occasion…perhaps a glass of Sealand Projects beer?

Mark Brown – Operations Manager

BEng (Hons), Mechanical & Offshore Engineering, Robert Gordon University

Mark has twenty years’ experience of offshore projects across oil and gas and renewables markets having occupied technical and leadership roles in Consultancy businesses, E&P organisations, major subsea contractors and service companies.

Mark leads the operational aspects of the business and has responsibility for technical and commercial delivery of projects and services in support of our clients.

Outside of work Mark is a keen runner and, having recently completed his first marathon, is already planning his next challenge!
