Graeme MacDougall – Managing Director

BEng (Hons), Civil Engineering, Heriot Watt University,

Working for more than 20 years for subsea installation contractors, consultants and operators, Graeme has gained a wealth of experience working within the offshore and renewables industries.

His passion for overcoming the challenges that clients face, along with his excellent management and communication skills, enable Graeme to work with their teams to deliver successful projects time and time again.

On his downtime, Graeme is happy on the open road with his trusty bike, clocking up the miles wherever and whenever possible!

Pascal Ochoa – Board Member

MSc Laws & Finance / Institut d’Etudes Politiques, Bordeaux, France

Pascal has over 25 years’ experience, among which 16 years within the Setec group.

He started as a consultant for public and local authorities helping them to face major transformation challenges. Then, as a manager, he led Energy and Climate activities during the last 6 years and has particularly paid attention to the French emerging offshore wind market.

Now he is the Managing Director of setec Offshore Wind, the setec’s subsidiary dedicated to fix bottom and floating offshore wind and a Member of the Sealand Projects’ Board.

In his downtime, Pascal enjoys keeping rhythm playing drums and being a runner. His closest neighbours would rather see him go for a run…

Valérie Bernhardt – Board Member

MSc Civil Eng / Geotechnics, Ecole Centrale de Lyon, France

Valérie has over 30 years’ experience, among which 25 years with the Setec group.

She started as a geotechnical engineer and for the past 10 years, she has been the Managing Director of Terrasol (the Setec geotechnical subsidiary). She has also been the MD for Setec Consulting Engineers Ltd from 2021 to 2023.

She is now Director in Charge of the group Structuring for the Setec group, and a Member of the Sealand Projects’ Board.

In her spare time, Valérie enjoys Paris’ cultural life, and is also a great reader. She also loves the great outdoors, whether mountain or sea.

Mark Brown – Operations Manager

BEng (Hons), Mechanical & Offshore Engineering, Robert Gordon University

Mark has twenty years’ experience of offshore projects across oil and gas and renewables markets having occupied technical and leadership roles in Consultancy businesses, E&P organisations, major subsea contractors and service companies.

Mark leads the operational aspects of the business and has responsibility for technical and commercial delivery of projects and services in support of our clients.

Outside of work Mark is a keen runner and, having recently completed his first marathon, is already planning his next challenge!

Taha Abadi – Finance Manager

MA (Hons), Finance & Management, University of Aberdeen

Taha has over a dozen years’ experience in Finance across oil and gas and renewables markets, and financial services, having occupied accounting and leadership roles in consultancy businesses, major subsea contractors and service companies.

Taha leads the finance function of the business and has responsibility for financial and corporate governance, and commercial reporting of projects in support of our clients.

Taha also features as guest speaker at his alma mater for selected modules on the Accountancy & Finance degree programmes. Outside of work Taha is a sports enthusiast, and can be found in sports stadia up and down the country and beyond!
