6. A Net Zero Strategy Document, which is visual summary of steps taken and lookahead, ideally to be used on a company’s website or within stakeholder engagement exercises

Sealand then offer an option for a carbon coaching package for the following years, facilitating businesses with the processes and tools needed to take carbon reporting and reduction responsibilities in-house. Our Managing Director, Graeme MacDougall and Net Zero Manager, Ash Penley were delighted to deliver a talk at this year’s British Ports Association conference yesterday. In recent years, Sealand Projects Ltd’s services have diversified to support the growing urgency for all businesses to meet net zero.

Yesterday’s talk focused on our tailored sustainability programme for ports and offshore windfarms.

Our programme delves deep into carbon management, analysing scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions from marine traffic and port facilities. With the support of our in-house sustainability team, we enable clients to pinpoint emission sources, forge reduction strategies, and design the infrastructure investment blueprint to achieve set reduction goals. All these elements coalesce to pave the way for a robust Net Zero strategy.

We have applied our carbon management program across various ports and marine services, giving us a distinctive perspective in creating actionable, achievable, and significant pathways to Net Zero.

The Sea-Cab/Taxi is fully licensed to carry 12 passengers per voyage plus crew compliment. This vessel has been purpose built for crew transfers and passenger transport and has been in full service since 2013. There was a talk from the crew onboard about the history and operations today at the port and the crew were happy to share information on the Port of Aberdeen’s history, operational activities today and insights into the Windfarm.

The only downside was that we didn’t see any dolphinson this trip, but maybe next time

Following on from the windfarm tour, we had also arranged a treasure hunt, which was a good 3½ mile walk around exploring the city, discovering famous sights and hidden places, with both teams (if following the trail correctly) ending up in one of Aberdeen’s most historic pubs for a well deserved !!

All in all it was a fantastic day out and the team had a fab day on Sea and Land…..great to be living up to our name even on our downtime !!
