Project description

Sealand Projects were appointed by DEME to support the development Marine Operations Assurance Manual for managing Crew Transfer & SIMOPS during marine works at the Hinkley Point C facility, which were scheduled to commence in Q2 2021 and extend through Q2 2023.

The focus was the assessment of transfer methodology, logistics, quayside facilities, nominated vessel interfaces and marine operational controls required to facilitate the safe and efficient transfer of crew.

A HAZID workshop was facilitated to engage key stakeholders; to highlight gaps, opportunities, risks, and areas for improvement; prior to developing the detailed engineering.
