Greyhope Bay Team Visit

Greyhope Bay Team Visit 640 480 Sealand Projects

Yesterday some of our team took the opportunity to visit the South Harbour Visitor Centre, located in Walker Park, by Girdleness Lighthouse.

We enjoyed a tour around the centre and onto the viewing platform, where Kirsty Sivell from Port of Aberdeen was kind enough to give us an overview of the ongoing operations, the different construction activities associated with the project, the environmental protection measures being developed and some of the local history of the harbour and surrounding areas.  As you can see the weather was kind and the haar didn’t spoil the views too much !

We then headed up to the Greyhope Bay, at the Torry Battery for a coffee and warm up.  Such a lovely wee café and great location, just a pity the dolphins 🐬 didn’t show today but that just gives us an excuse to go back again.

Both the visitor centre and Greyhope aims to host community and professional events, talks and presentations, and are well worthy of taking the opportunity to pop into if ever in the area.
