We recently supported our UKCS Operator Client with an FPSO life extension campaign. Operations included the changeout of mooring system intermediate chain sections as well as replacement of the floating offloading hose. Our scope included technical assurance of the procedures and analysis developed by the mooring contractor as well as attending operations reviews and HIRA workshops as part of the onshore planning activities. In addition, we provided site based and offshore support on behalf of our Client to oversee; chain offloading and marshalling at supply base, vessel mobilisation and offshore operations across two AHV campaigns. All operations were completed successfully and safely between September and November this year.
Mooring is a core strength of Sealand Projects Ltd where we support installation contractors as well as FPSO operators and currently have ongoing operational projects in Brazil and West Africa.
